November 13, 2008

昨日の川を再度訪れました。未だ驚くべき数の蜻蛉が飛び交っていました。ペアーもたくさん見かけました。驚きました。日本はとても寒いのですが・・・。ビデオはYouTubeにアップロード致しました。
合掌。

I visited the yesterday's river again. A surprising numerical dragonfly still flew. I saw a lot of pairs. I was surprised. Japan is very cold. I uploaded the video in YouTube.

Hello...These are all great photos, but I find the number 8 picture(top to bottom), a most perfect capture. Although the dragon is more pale in color, the setting is perfect! The dragon, the rock, the leaves, and twig...simply, natural beauty. I am sure my dragons are gone, we are very cold in the overnight, too.

Hello. The Japan time is 0:33 p.m. on November 14.
The mentioned photograph is a female of the Miyama Akane. Will she take a rest after laying eggs?
As for me, tears overflow when I think that all these dragonflies disappear. I become the posture of the prayer naturally.

Until which month do you have dragons flying in Japan?
I would imagine their numbers would be going down from late Nov?
Impressive sequence of shots, as usual.

An answer was late. I apologize heartily.
All the dragonflies of here have disappeared.
It is the arrival of the winter.
